Here is The Laine Bow Trench coat..
I really love it!
It was from Burda 7237.
I found a fabulous website from a friend which makes belts from your fabric!
It is called Harlequin and cost £10 plus P&P. I decided it would just give the finishing touch to my coat.
3 metres of fabric from Calico Laine
Thank you for reading all the instalments! It went on abit didn’t it!!!??
I have a new dress to wear with it….coming soon!
Amanda💝
This is gorgeous – I was planning on making a Mac this year – now it will also have a bow 🙂

Thanks Hazel! It’s a Dita vin Teese copy! She had a beautiful one on in LA airport. Not sure if the photo is in that post, but worth a Google! Hers was emerald green. ☔️

Now THAT’S what you call a bow!! The trench is gorgeous and fits you perfectly. You have inspired me to have a go at making a coat!

Great work, Amanda. I love this as much as your lace trench. And what a great resource for matching belts!

Hmmm, yeah. I’ve been a bit absent from my sewing room / blog this year, but things are beginning to settle down a bit now, so hopefully I’ll be back in the swing of things soon. I am not sure I have another trench in me this year, but I do have a blazer which has been on the top of my to-do list for nearly a year now (when I have had time to sew it has been limited, so I have not wanted to start anything major – it’s about time to dive into a big project, I think!)
