Last week I posted about The India
and told the story of my lovely work colleague who had spent her Summer holidays backpacking across India. She still managed to get me a metre of beautiful fabric in her backpack! As she is a fabulous photographer she managed to get some photos of the town -Jaisalmer in Rajasthan, and also the shop she bought it in. She told the shopkeeper I had been on the tv with my sewing and he tried to sell her everything!
There was lots of sewing going on in the town.
Thank you to my lovely friend, it was such a thoughtful gift and so special to be able to see where it came from.
This was my 200th post!!! Thanks for hanging in there guys!!

How lovely to see where your fabric came from, especially when it’s so far away!
I love the shirt, and your hair is looking sharp!

So extra special to see the shop, shop keeper, and location of this fabric’s purchase. Wonder what exotic place it may go next! xx

What gorgeous photos. I’ll bet you were itching to have a good old rummage in that shop when you saw all those gloriously colourful fabrics 🙂 x
