i was so delighted to be in a sewing magazine that I asked Lisa at White Tree if I could do a post on my five favourite White Tree Fabric makes. I am on the WT blogging team and so for each project I receive the fabric and sometimes the pattern all for free! Thanks White Tree!
First up has to be The Eclipse! This was the most beautiful lace I have ever seen and it feels beautiful to wear.
The Leeds Lace is another Summer favourite. Another guipure lace this time in white. If you have never sewn with lace try with a non stretch to begin with, it is exactly like using cotton with the added bonus that if like me, you are sometimes wonky, the lace hides it!!!
The White Tree Wiggle is made from some beautiful ponte roma which I had never sewn before, it is stretchy but nice to sew due to the weight of it. White Tree are hoping to source some pastel colours in this. They would be gorgeous!
One of my favourite blouses -the Mantilla Blouse was the first garment I made for White Tree. I was so excited to be sewing for their blog and I was so nervous about cutting it out! I have just ordered some in white for a summer top.
White Tree have just started selling a range of cottons and I loved this one as soon as I spotted it. It reminded me of Rosie and Jim, who my children loved to watch when they were little. So of course it had to be…… The Rosie and Jim Dress , and I have to believe it is a good make when after posting it, WT sold out! Luckily there was another roll and all was well!
Some of these makes were as part of my blogging for White Tree fabrics, but I have to tell you I love their fabric so much I buy it as well!
As a blogger I have my own code for you to use at the check out: SEWDEPUTY -20% off and free P&P in the UK.

Such brilliant makes! I particularly like the first dress – it suits you so well. I can’t wear black and am envious of people like you who look so elegant in it!

LOVE this post! Your mantilla Blouse was the very first blogger project I posted to the website! And you have turned in the most projects too – you sew so quickly and the makes are always gorgeous. It’s so wonderful having you on the Team (it’s our one our year anniversary you know!) and I would not have it any other way.
Not only that, but we’ve become friends and I even get to see you soon. Yaaaay!! xxxxxx
