I was invited to an Engagement party and so I definitely needed a new dress!
The week I got the invite I also noticed some bonded lace on White Tree Fabrics. It sounded like dream fabric so I used my 20% off and free P&P code : SEWDEPUTY.

You guessed it! Another Ruby dress from Simple Sew!
It was great fabric to sew, as it was just like sewing cotton- the lace is printed onto it. The v back also made it perfect for a party dress.
Annice did I say it would be perfect for a Halloween party (!) but I really like it. I used a satin ribbon tied around the waist in a bow.

Wonky factor: 10/10!!! This is a great fit and was an easy sew and I love how it looks and feels to wear!

Thanks Linny! What are you up to? Has your daughter carried on with her sewing? Annice has made us some hessian stockings with lace and pearls…..but she is bored with them now and they languish on the sofa waiting some hand stitching! Haha
