After 34 years my New Home sewing machine finally gave up! I wondered about getting it fixed but decided that there had to be a time when I started being up to date! I can’t see to thread the needle and I wanted to do Onestepbuttonholes!
So I did some research and decided on a Singer 3232, which does all those things. I hope it will make me a less wonky stitcher!!?? No chance!
It is actually called Singer Simple! Perfect for my sewing!
It also has 32 decorative stitches which I used to sew some ribbon on a Hiawatha dance costume for a friend’s little girl.

Just purchased the Singer 3229 as a gift to myself three weeks ago. As someone who has never ever touched a sewing machine it’s not as simple as I first thought. I’m very excited though since I’ve purchased some materiel already. My first fiasco ( lesson) was earlier on today when I tried to make a kids skirt which I am now turning into a throw pillow.

Oops, sent before I had finished! I think keeping inspired is the answer so follow lots of blogs. That’s what I did! And getting a mannequin made a massive difference to the fit. Happy sewing! ⭐️
