I finished my flamingo blouse from that same old pattern….. Simplicity 2154.
The fabric reminds me of the wonderful Bea- I feel like she really needs a circle skirt with a fabulous flamingo appliqued on it!
I always feel if I am making homemade that I really have to make sure they don’t look it, hence the extra care I have taken with this blouse…I even managed to get the top exactly equal to where it meets for the button!

I saw some slipper style shoes in Accessorize….in grey with a pink flamingo embroidered on the front!!!! Haha if only I had bought the pink fabric!!!!

No! Haha! I have only made one pair of trousers and they are not quite finished. They were a trial run to see if I could do a fly zipper! Went quite well and they are quite a good fit. I just need to do the waistband on them. Thanks for your comments, always appreciated! Isn’t it great when everyone is so nice about what you sew!!! ??
