I bought one metre of retro fabric last month from Calico Laine and wanted a nice simple blouse to wear with some black capri trousers.
New Look 6808 seemed a good idea.
The back.
Armholes- finished with home made bias binding.
The neck is also finished with bias binding. I made sure I cut down close to the seams using my rotary cutter with the wavy blade and then notched the edges. This is the smoothest neck line yet!
I got my linen jacket out of the cupboard….. it is Spring!

It was a nice easy sew but even with these easy sews I never seem to get my necklines flat! I think I am improving though!
