After seeing so many beautiful By Hand London Anna Dresses on blogs I decided I really wanted to have a try. I got the pattern as a birthday gift as well as some Liberty coins to spend on fabric!
I decided to make one from some £2.99 a metre fabric as I read about the back difficulties on lots of the posts.
I decided to put an invisible zip in the side instead of the back.
I am really impressed with the fit of it and it is very flattering. More so than I imagined it would be.
I am wearing it to visit London this week and will try to get some photos of it in it’s rightful home!
Oh….and might just get chance to call in Liberty to spend the coins!
I love these! What a great idea and such a lovely gift. I have already had a look at some of the choices of fabric I will have! The Atrium is a firm favourite at the minute;
The Atrium
or Queue for the zoo?
I feel like it needs to be pink!

I am still debating whether I want this pattern or not. Can’t wait to see you wearing it! I vote for the zoo fabric, the other one is a bit too much pink for my taste.

I think you will want this pattern! I didn’t think it would be flattering on the bust due to the pleats but it looks fine on. Yes, I think zoo maybe my fav when I see it in the shop.
