I remember my Mum looking exactly like the lady on the pattern and so just had to make her an apron!
It was a lovely item to sew, has lots of material in it and lovely pockets edged in bias binding.
I know she will love it!
My daughter modelled for me and her waist is so tiny I can almost wrap it twice round her!
I love aprons and I recently sourced some original linen vintage ones, bit tatty but I wear them sewing!. Love yours, with its cute retro styling, happy Mum methinks!

I never wear aprons either, except on Christmas morning when I make breakfast. 🙂 Really, I do…. have no idea why except that maybe it’s because I have an apron with Santa Claus on it. 🙂
Your apron is splendid!

Hahaha, that is an important Christmas tradition in your house. Everyone would comment if you didn’t wear it! Haha

I have a love/hate affair with aprons. I love to look at them and make them. Seems I hate to wear them. Go figure. 😆 Well . . . maybe I don’t “hate” wearing them . . . I just always forget I have one – usually give them away after I make them. 😆 Love that blue/white version on the cover.

Same for me. I never wear an apron, but my Mam can’t start a job in the house without one on! It must be a generation thing! And they take soooooo much fabric! The one you like is about 3.5 m!
